Dr Peter Wilkinson: Specialist Orthodontist
Dr Wilkinson completed his degree in Dentistry in 1989. After 8 years of working in general dentistry, he completed a three year Master’s Degree in Orthodontics at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
Dr Wilkinson has worked extensively in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia in the public and private dental sectors and has been working on the Gold Coast since 2001. Dr Wilkinson is passionate about helping people achieve sensational smiles and is known for his caring and calm manner.
Dr Wilkinson is a member of the Australian Dental Association and Australian Society of Orthodontics and regularly attends orthodontic conferences and continued professional development training to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontics.
On the weekend Dr Wilkinson enjoys family time with his 3 children and wife taking family and friends boating on the river and participating in water sports.
Another favourite pastime of Dr Wilkinson is tinkering around in the Wilkinson Orthodontics Kombi. One thing you may not know about Dr Wilkinson is that he is an accomplished musician and plays bass guitar in his Church band.
Dr Chrisoph Ramesh: Specialist Orthodontist
Dr Ramesh is an experienced and caring specialist orthodontist who has recently joined us from Sydney.
She qualified in England at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and obtained a Masters in Orthodontics at Kings College London. She has a wealth of experience in public and private sector orthodontics in England and Australia and holds memberships at the Royal College of Surgeons, Australian Dental Association and with the Australian Dental Council. She is a registered specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
Her recent move to Queensland has allowed her to pursue her personal interests of water sports and hiking as well as yoga, painting and writing poetry. She looks forward to settling into life on the Gold Coast and delivering excellence in orthodontics to children and adults of all ages.
Dana McColl: Oral Health Therapist
Dana has worked in the dental industry for over 15 years. She gained her Certificate III in Dental Assisting on the Sunshine Coast before heading overseas working as a Dental Assistant in Edinburgh.
After several years as a dental assistant, she returned to Australia to study Oral Health Therapy at Griffith University.
Since graduating in 2008, Dana has been working with Dr Wilkinson helping patients achieve their ideal smile. Dana is also qualified in Dental Radiography assisting our practice with onsite access to diagnostic records for patients.
Dana also works with a Paediatric dentist 2 days a week and enjoys working with children.
On the weekend Dana spends time with her 2 young daughters and husband. One of her favourite pastimes is being among nature; camping, fishing and boating. When Dana gets a chance, which is less frequently now as she has her young family, she likes to head out and catch a live band.
